Alison has recently completed a brief spell script editing series 3 of EVE for CBBC/Blacklisted Films. Prior to that, she finished script editing THE WHITE PRINCESS, an 8-episode series in development with US cable channel Starz and Company Pictures in the UK. Based on the novel by Philippa Gregory which has been adapted by Emma Frost, the show is the follow up to the Starz/BBC series, THE WHITE QUEEN. Before joining the show, Alison developed and script edited the 13-episode science fiction series EVE for CBBC/Leopard Drama.

Starting her career as a script reader for Corona Pictures, Alison soon moved to become a Trainee Storyliner on RIVER CITY, the BBC’s long-running Scottish soap opera. Moving into a development role at BBC Scotland, she later returned to RIVER CITY as a Script Editor, moving on to become Story Editor and then Story Producer, where she took overall responsibility for the long term story arcs of the series, created new characters and sourced writers for the show.

From RIVER CITY, Alison moved to Shed to work on WATERLOO ROAD, where she was Script Consultant on the ninth series of the popular BBC1 drama. She also acted as Assistant Producer on the show, producing 2 episodes in the penultimate block of the series.

Separately, Alison is involved in the Shed-funded Glasgow Caledonia University MA in Television Fiction Writing, where she acted as a mentor for a new writer each since its inception three years ago.
