CHRISTOPHER BELL

Christopher’s first feature film, a crime thriller called LAUNDRYMEN, is in development with Salon Pictures and he is currently developing his first TV series – a family drama called SHRINKS – with Lionsgate and Salon. He has written a film about David Bowie for Salon and is writing another feature for them currently too.

He has also contributed to several light entertainment formats – including one that Caitlin Moran named “the worst TV show of the past decade”, and once enjoyed a short-lived TV presenting career, most unmemorably, on Sky’s ABDUCT ME.

In his former life he was the editor of FHM, and also launched ‘Project,’ the world’s first iPad magazine. He’s since written for media as diverse as the BBC, CNN, the Daily Telegraph, the Sunday Times, Cosmopolitan, Grazia and, rather oddly, Brides.

He also co-owns a creative agency called ‘We Did That,’ whose ideas for the likes of Audi, Microsoft, Diageo and Unilever have won two Cannes Lions advertising awards. They also built a hot air balloon shaped like a pirate ship.
